This Is My Story

Stylist & Image Consultant

I am a Personal Stylist and Wardrobe & Image Consultant based in Sydney. In addition to a large database of personal clients I hold a passion for professional, corporate image and media styling.

I am thrilled to work with a broad range of clients both locally and interstate and have a personal client database of over 2000 clients. I started my fashion journey in sales and public relations, but then something clicked and I discovered my calling as a Personal Stylist. I have now called the styling arena my home for 17 years and offer an incredibly diverse range of styling services to individuals and companies.

Qualifications

I hold an array of relevant training qualifications that add credibility to my service offerings. I have tertiary marketing and fashion business qualifications, specialising in fashion styling and consulting and have trained in image consulting in Australia and the fashion capital itself, Milan, Italy. I am a qualified Colour Consultant, have conducted several short courses on presenting for television at NIDA and hold my 'Certificate IV in Training and Assessment'. I have a finer knowledge of the Australian fashion industry and keep my finger on the pulse with both local and international trends.

International Experience & Training

In 2005, I further developed my skills by training at Instituto Marangoni Fashion College, Milan, Italy. I completed style and image training and undertook a range of styling projects with visitors and locals within Milan. Whilst in Milan, I worked with emerging Italian designers, styled fashion shows along with industry professionals and local entertainers. Milano is where my passion for personal styling was born.

Teaching & Mentoring

In 2009 I was invited to lecture in styling and fashion business at FBI Fashion College in Sydney where I remain connected as an educator at the college today. I facilitate fashion business and styling workshops and am successfully involved with the college student mentoring program. I am also a past student of FBI Fashion College completing my training in 2003.

I also offer individual private coaching and mentoring sessions for a limited number of aspiring Stylists.

Corporate & Professional Consulting

I have a passion for corporate and professional styling. This has provided me the opportunity to work with corporate clients from varying industries facilitating a range of workshops and seminars on corporate image and workplace dress policy.

My clients range from airlines and law firms to pharmaceutical companies and banks. I take a keen interest in the changing face of corporate dress and work with some of Australia's most acclaimed leaders in politics, professional services and a large portion of Sydney's top legal professionals. I am well known for being discrete and valuing my clients confidentiality over self promotion hence I take a back seat with parading clients on social media platforms.

Presenting

I am a confident presenter and have had the pleasure of speaking at numerous company events and special event luncheons sharing my expertise on professional image, fashion and the latest season trends. I have even been invited as a contributor on several national television segments.

I have taken the stage with luminaries such as, Akira Isogawa, Gretel Killeen, Kate Waterhouse, Natalie Barr and former Vogue editor in chief, Kirstie Clements.

Media & Wardrobe Styling

I enjoy media styling professionals across news and lifestyle and regularly style clients for media events which have included The Logies, AACTA's and the Australian Commercial Radio Awards.

I was 'Head of Wardrobe' for Network Ten’s lifestyle show, The Living Room for 8 incredible years styling key talent and guests across all studio and location shoots. I have also worked with other notable channels such as Foxtel and Channel 9.

In 2019 I undertook a project with the ABC Made creative team assisting with the style re brand of the networks top journalists. I currently work with ABC's national breakfast show, News Breakfast as their Wardrobe Stylist.

My most recent media project was styling renowned actor, Anthony La Paglia for 'The Black Hand' documentary series which aired on ABC iview in 2023.

Retail & Events

I have worked extensively with shopping centres on their seasonal fashion marketing events coordinating and hosting fashion events and workshops. These centres include AMP Capital, Lend Lease, GPT Group, Stockland, Westfield and Colonial First State. In 2012 I was engaged by retail giant, Westfield to assist in the training and development of their team of in-centre Personal Stylists. I joined the team as a Westfield Stylist for AW 2015 where I headed up the visual merchandising of a prominent centre along with hosting shows, masterclass stage events and individual personal style sessions.

My marketing qualifications enable me to take the reins with the event management of these campaigns offering a cost effective and targeted seasonal fashion campaign.

Volunteer Work

Giving back has forever been a part of my vision. I have worked extensively with Sydney organisation, Dress For Success Sydney, assisting disadvantaged women to achieve self-sufficiency and independence. This was achievable through volunteering wardrobe styling services and facilitating a series of workshops on image and presentation for both high school students and disadvantaged women along with women in local correctional facilities. I have also worked with Dress for Success on training and developing new volunteers and developing training content for the organisations volunteer presenters.

I have worked with St Vincent’s De Paul Society and The Salvation Army facilitating empowering workshops for women and more recently collaborated with Nova Employment, a disability employment service, facilitating professional presentation workshops for the organisations job candidates.

I welcome the opportunity volunteer my time to facilitate workshops in schools in lower socioeconomic areas of Sydney along with groups in marginalised communities.

My passion lies with personal styling and I am highly results driven. I enjoy collaborating with inspiring individuals and companies alike on targeted and challenging briefs. My key objective is to continue to develop tailored image solutions for clients with a modern edge whilst solving personal image briefs with creativity and understanding.
