Story
Stylist & Image Consultant
I am a Personal Stylist and Wardrobe & Image Consultant based in Sydney. In addition to a large database of personal clients I hold a passion for professional, corporate image and media styling.
I consult with a broad range of clients both locally and interstate and have a personal client database of over 2000 clients. I started my fashion journey in sales and public relations, but before too long I discovered my calling as a Personal Stylist. I have now called the styling arena my home for 20 years and offer a diverse range of styling services to individuals and companies across the country.
Qualifications
I hold relevant training qualifications which add credibility to my service offerings. I have tertiary marketing and fashion business qualifications, specialising in fashion styling and consulting. I have trained in image consulting in Australia and the fashion capital itself, Milan, Italy. I am a qualified Colour Analysis Consultant, have conducted several short courses on presenting for television at NIDA and hold my up to date 'Certificate IV in Training and Assessment'. In 2024 I completed a Graduate Certificate in Psychology and Business Management through Curtin University.
International Experience & Training
In 2005, I further developed my skills by training at Instituto Marangoni Fashion College, Milan, Italy. I completed style and image training and undertook a range of styling projects with visitors and locals within Milan. Whilst in Milan, I worked with emerging Italian designers, styled fashion shows along with industry professionals and local entertainers. Milano is where my passion for personal styling was born.
Teaching & Mentoring
In 2009, I was invited to lecture in styling and fashion business at FBI Fashion College in Sydney, where I remained an educator for over 15 years. During this time, I facilitated fashion business and styling workshops and was actively involved in the student mentoring program. As a proud alumna of the college, having completed my training in 2003, it was a full circle experience.
Corporate & Commercial Styling
I am widely regarded as one of Australia’s leading authorities in corporate and professional styling. My work spans industries and sectors, from professional services and law to aviation, finance, and pharmaceuticals. I specialise in high level image and branding projects, often complex and far-reaching. I regularly facilitate workshops and seminars on corporate image, executive presence, and workplace dress standards. I work closely with some of the country’s most influential leaders in politics and business, including a significant number of Sydney’s top legal professionals. Known for my discretion, I prioritise client confidentiality and trust above visibility, ensuring a service that is both strategic and professional.
Presenting
I am a confident presenter and have had the pleasure of speaking at numerous company events and special event luncheons sharing my expertise on professional image, fashion and the latest seasonal trends. I have even been invited as a contributor on several national television segments.
I have taken the stage with industry leaders such as, Akira Isogawa, Gretel Killeen, Kate Waterhouse, Natalie Barr and former Vogue editor in chief, Kirstie Clements.
Media & Wardrobe Styling
I enjoy media styling professionals across news and lifestyle and regularly style clients for media events which have included The Logies, AACTA's and the Australian Commercial Radio Awards.
I headed up wardrobe for Network Ten’s lifestyle show, The Living Room for 8 years styling key talent and guests across studio and location. I was also engaged by networks, Foxtel and Channel 9 and ABC's national breakfast show, News Breakfast as their wardrobe stylist for 6 years. I also style presenters from ABC News, Victoria.
A recent media project involved styling renowned actor, Anthony La Paglia for 'The Black Hand' documentary series which aired on ABC iview in 2023.
Retail & Events
I have extensive experience partnering with shopping centres on seasonal fashion activations, where I coordinate and host events and workshops. These centres include AMP Capital, Lend Lease, GPT Group, Stockland, Westfield and Colonial First State.
I was engaged by Westfield to support the training and development of their in-centre Personal Stylists, with a focus on colour analysis. I also led the visual merchandising for a prominent centre and hosted fashion shows, masterclasses, and one-on-one styling sessions. Each season, my team and I collaborate with leading shopping centres to deliver high-impact fashion styling events.
My marketing qualifications enable me to take the reins with the event management of these campaigns offering a cost effective and targeted seasonal fashion campaign.
Volunteer Work
Giving back has forever been a part of my vision. I have worked extensively with Sydney organisation, Dress For Success Sydney, assisting disadvantaged women to achieve self-sufficiency and independence. This was achievable through volunteering wardrobe styling services and facilitating workshops on image and presentation for high school students, women experiencing vulnerability and women in local correctional facilities. I have also worked with Dress for Success on training and developing new volunteers and developing training content for the organisations volunteer presenters.
I’ve facilitated empowering workshops for women through partnerships with the St Vincent de Paul Society and The Salvation Army. More recently, I’ve collaborated with NOVA Employment, a disability employment service, delivering professional presentation workshops for their job candidates.
I welcome the opportunity volunteer my time to facilitate workshops in schools in lower socioeconomic areas of Sydney along with groups in marginalised communities.
Vision
My passion lies with personal styling and with styling as my full-time career, I am highly results driven. I enjoy collaborating with inspiring individuals and companies alike on targeted and challenging briefs. My key objective is to continue to develop tailored image solutions for clients with a modern edge whilst solving personal image briefs with creativity and understanding.
