Stylist & Image Consultant

Caitlin is a Personal Stylist and Wardrobe & Image Consultant based in Sydney. In addition to a large database of personal clients Caitlin holds a passion for professional, corporate image and media styling.

Caitlin services a diverse range of clients addressing their wardrobe and image needs both locally and interstate and has a personal client database of over 2000 clients. Originally working in fashion sales and public relations, Caitlin has been a Personal Stylist for nearly 17 years and offers a diverse range of image services.

Qualifications

Caitlin holds a range of relevant training qualifications that add credibility to her service offerings. She has tertiary marketing and fashion business qualifications, which include fashion styling and consulting and has trained in image consulting in Australia and Milan, Italy. Caitlin is a qualified Colour Consultant, has conducted several short courses on presenting for television at NIDA and holds her current 'Certificate IV in Training and Assessment' certifying her as an accredited workplace trainer. Caitlin has a finer knowledge of the Australian fashion industry and remains current with both local and international designers and trends.

International Experience & Training

In 2005, Caitlin further developed her skills by training at Instituto Marangoni Fashion College, Milan, Italy. She completed style and image training and undertook a range of styling projects with visitors and locals within Milan. Whilst in Milan, Caitlin worked with emerging Italian designers, styled fashion shows along with industry professionals and local entertainers. This is where her passion for personal styling was born.
 

Teaching & Mentoring


In 2009 Caitlin was invited to lecture in styling and fashion business at FBI Fashion College in Sydney where she remains an educator at the college today. She currently facilitates fashion business and styling workshops and holds a strong relationship with the college. She is successfully involved with the college student mentoring program. Caitlin is also a past student of FBI Fashion College completing her training in 2003.

Caitlin also offers individual coaching and mentoring sessions for aspiring Stylists

Corporate & Professional Consulting

Caitlin has an intense passion for corporate and professional styling. This has provided Caitlin the opportunity to work with corporate clients from varying industries facilitating a range of workshops and seminars on corporate image and workplace dress code.

Client's range from airlines and law firms to pharmaceutical companies and banks. Caitlin takes a keen interest in the changing face of corporate dress and works with some of Australia's most acclaimed leaders in politics, professional services and a large portion of Sydney's top tier legal professionals. Caitlin is well known for being discrete and valuing the clients confidentiality over self promotion hence takes a back seat with parading her clients on social media platforms.

Presenting

Caitlin is a confident presenter and public speaker and presents on professional image, fashion and key season trends at numerous company events and special event luncheons. She has also contributed to several national television segments where her voice of experience has been requested as a contributor.

Caitlin has presented events alongside prominent figures, Akira Isogawa, Gretel Killeen, Kate Waterhouse, Sunrise's Natalie Barr and  former Vogue editor in chief, Kirstie Clements.

Media & Wardrobe Styling

 

Caitlin enjoys media styling professionals across news and lifestyle. She regularly styles clients for media events and awards nights, music launches, fashion events, sports awards, The Logies and Australian Radio Awards.

 

Caitlin was 'Head of Wardrobe' for Network Ten’s lifestyle show, The Living Room for 8 years from series 1-8 working alongside key network talent styling and facilitating wardrobe for guests across the studio and location shoots. She concluded this role in 2019. Caitlin has sourced and styled wardrobe for a selection of Foxtel's channels including MAX Music, TVN Racing, 'Location Location Location' on Lifestyle Channel and 'The Truth About Us' on Bio produced and anchored by Angela Pulvirenti.

 

In 2019 Caitlin undertook a project with the ABC Made creative team wardrobe working with the team to re brand and style the image of the television networks top journalists in line with the set. Caitlin currently works with ABC News Breakfast providing wardrobe and style advice to key on air talent.

 

In 2020 Caitlin also came on board with the new Channel 9 lifestyle series, ‘Space Invaders’ as Wardrobe Stylist to key hosts. She continued this role in 2021 and 2022.

Caitlin's most recent media project was styling renowned actor, Anthony La Paglia for 'The Black Hand' documentary series airing on ABC iview in 2023.

Retail & Events

Caitlin has worked extensively with shopping centres on their seasonal fashion marketing events where she has coordinated and hosted fashion events, shows and workshops for a range of centres. These centres include AMP Capital, Lend Lease, GPT Group, Stockland, Westfield and Colonial First State centres. In 2012 Caitlin was engaged by retail giant, Westfield to assist in the training and development of their team of in-centre Personal Stylists. Caitlin joined the team as a Westfield Stylist for AW 2015 where she headed up the visual merchandising of a prominent centre along with hosting shows, masterclass stage events and individual personal style sessions.

Caitlin's marketing qualifications enable her to take the reins with the event management of these campaigns and allow the centre to lose the middle man and offer a cost effective and targeted seasonal campaign.

 

Charity Work

Caitlin regularly supports local charities by donating her time and services. She has worked extensively with Sydney organisation, Dress for Success Sydney assisting disadvantaged women to achieve self-sufficiency and independence. This was achievable through volunteering wardrobe styling services and facilitating a series of workshops on image and presentation for both high school students and disadvantaged women along with women in local correctional facilities. Caitlin has also worked with Dress for Success on training and developing new volunteers to the organisation and has been instrumental in developing training content for the organisations presenters.

Caitlin has also donated time to St Vincent’s De Paul Society and The Salvation Army facilitating empowering workshops for women. Caitlin has more recently collaborated with Nova Employment, a disability employment service, providing support and confidence workshops for the organisations job seekers. Caitlin is delighted to offer complimentary image workshops in schools in lower socioeconomic areas of Sydney along with women in marginalised communities.

 

Vision

Caitlin's passion lies with professional personal styling, she enjoys working with everyday people and companies alike on their targeted briefs. Caitlin's key objective is to continue to develop tailored image solutions for her clients with a modern edge whilst solving personal image challenges with creativity and understanding.
