A personal shopping trip guided by a professional Personal Stylist is one of the most commonly requested services in professional styling. It is a structured, results-driven process designed to update, refine and elevate a client’s wardrobe in line with their professional role, lifestyle and personal brand.
My personal shopping services are booked separately from in-home styling sessions. Every shopping engagement begins with a detailed needs analysis, which may include a new client questionnaire and a phone or video consultation. This ensures we have a clear brief and a practical action plan in place before we step into a shopping centre.
We meet at an agreed shopping location and shop together as a collaborative team. I view personal shopping as a partnership. I arrive with a clear strategy and extensive pre-research already completed. This allows me to suggest pieces quickly and accurately, without guesswork.
I don't generally pre-pull garments or place bulk items on hold unless there is a specific requirement to do so. This approach, avoids extra preparation expense for the client, maintains client privacy and reduces sales pressure. My clients value a discreet experience that avoids unnecessary attention from other customers or store staff.

Shopping sessions are deliberately structured to not extend beyond half a day. Based on over 20 years of experience, I have found that shorter, focused sessions deliver the best results. Clients remain engaged, decisions are clearer and the process feels purposeful rather than overwhelming and exhausting. For clients requiring a more comprehensive wardrobe update, this is best achieved across two half-day sessions.
