corporate STYLING
Corporate styling has become a buzzword in recent years, with many Personal Stylists and Influencers repositioning themselves in the space. However, true corporate styling is not about putting someone in the latest blazer and calling it leadership.
In the corporate world, clothing isn’t just clothing. It’s communication.
What a person wears shapes how they are perceived, how they influence, build trust, and lead.
Corporate styling has real-world impact across:
-
Executive presence and leadership development
-
Graduate programs and onboarding
-
Media, PR and public speaking
-
Company uniform programs and workforce presentation
-
Team culture and commercial brand reputation
It helps people not simply look the part, but:
-
Influence
-
Communicate
-
Lead
-
Connect
Outfits become tools for confidence, clarity and performance.
"The corporate dress code is changing.
And so is the way we style corporate."
In the past, image consultants were brought in to tell employees how to dress, groom, and follow a strict set of style rules, an approach that simply doesn’t belong in today’s informal and inclusive workplace culture. Modern organisations need something very different: a flexible, human-centred, brand-aligned approach that supports confidence, communication and performance rather than enforcing conformity. This is where I specialise.
I am widely known as the go-to stylist for corporate projects, with one of the most extensive client lists in the industry. With 20 years experience, supported by additional training in organisational psychology I bring both creative direction and corporate fluency. I understand people, business, leadership and the power of professional presence.
Modern, impactful, and tailored to your team.
Today’s professional landscape has evolved and so has the way we present ourselves. In my corporate styling workshops, I bring a modern, empowering approach. I don’t tell people how to dress. Instead, I guide professionals to elevate their look in a way that feels authentic, confident, and aligned with both their personal identity and your organisation’s values.
These high-energy, engaging sessions are designed to spark confidence, enhance professional presence, and inspire individuals to take ownership of their personal brand. Whether your team works remotely, in the office, or across both, my approach embraces flexibility while reinforcing the importance of strong visual communication and leadership presence.

Corporate Dress Policy Review
& Company Uniforms
As workplace culture becomes more relaxed, many organisations are revisiting their corporate dress policy. Interestingly, it is often the companies that view dress codes as “outdated” that experience the most challenges with employee presentation. Most professions have either a uniform or a corporate dress policy - both exist to create cohesion, professionalism, and brand alignment.
Uniforms ensure everyone looks consistent in the same garments. A corporate dress policy aims to achieve the same outcome, without prescribing identical clothing, providing an on-brand visual standard for the team.
A clear, modern dress policy brings:
-
Consistency across teams and departments
-
A recognisable external brand presence
-
Reduced ambiguity and tension among staff
-
A shared reference point for managers and HR
However, internal conversations about appearance can quickly become sensitive, and many organisations worry about being perceived as outdated, profiling, or inappropriate. As a result, companies either leave it in the "too hard basket" or opt for a one-hour workshop and hope for the best. However, without a clear policy or guide, there is no structure for ongoing alignment. A well-written dress policy removes subjectivity and protects everyone - leaders, HR, managers and employees.
A better way to approach corporate presentation.
I use a multi-step process that includes both qualitative and quantitative research with team members before presenting styling and presentation recommendations. Once the final approach is approved, I help deliver it to the wider organisation through a carefully designed rollout - whether through workshops, video communications, launch events or digital activation.
If the company does not wear a uniform, a cohesive style and presentation guide becomes the key to consistency.
Navigating the Uniform Industry
Uniforms are a major investment and the industry is commercially driven. Many uniform providers are salespeople pulling from the same manufacturers, incentivised to sell high quantities of stock garments with a logo added on. It’s why, when companies run a tender, they often see the same ranges, same shirts, same chinos, same polos presented over and over again.
Custom solutions are rarely offered because they are less lucrative and require design expertise, something many suppliers do not have.
This is where working with an independent stylist makes a difference. I understand:
-
Where the uniform companies source from
-
Which suppliers have genuine design capability
-
Which providers specialise in comfort, durability, sustainability or inclusivity
-
When a custom design is worthwhile and when it isn’t
-
How to avoid overspending on “stock + logo” solutions that don’t reflect the brand
I can manage supplier engagement end-to-end or collaborate closely with an internal procurement team. With access to manufacturers, I can also support the development of custom pieces when required.
Why Outsourcing Makes It Easier
Teams don’t want to carry the burden of uniform or dress policy decisions and HR shouldn’t have to manage subjective presentation conversations alone. Outsourcing protects relationships, reduces conflict, and speeds up decision-making.
With extensive experience in developing style guides and dress policies across corporate, professional and customer-facing industries, my approach is:
-
Clean
-
Consistent
-
Practical
-
Inclusive
-
Discreet and confidential
Whether the goal is a modern uniform, a style guide, or a refreshed dress policy, the outcome is the same: a workforce that looks cohesive, confident and aligned with the organisation’s brand - without feeling policed or forced into outdated rules.
Corporate Image Branding
Businesses invest heavily in branding, yet styling is often overlooked during company photoshoots despite its critical role in the final result.
Professional styling elevates a branding shoot by ensuring wardrobe coordination, visual consistency, and a polished, cohesive outcome. It streamlines the process on the day, allowing the team to focus on delivering strong, impactful imagery that aligns with your brand message. A skilled Stylist doesn’t just choose clothes, they understand how every detail contributes to the end goal.
I offer end-to-end styling support for branding projects and can work independently or with a trusted creative team to bring your vision to life.
Style with intention. Brand with impact.
